Prof (Dr) Tapan K Panda is an alumnus of the University of Houston, USA, and a well-Prof (Dr) Tapan K Panda is an alumnus of the University of Houston, USA, and a well-known scholar in change management, leadership, and creativity. Dr Panda started his career at the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow and worked as a full-time faculty member at IIM Kozhikode and IIM Indore. He has written more than 25 books and 100 research papers in the areas of advertising, marketing, and branding with more than 11500 citations at Google Scholar.

His areas of interest include performance management, change management, leadership creative thinking, and innovation. He also worked at the Great Lakes Institute of Management Chennai as Director, Founding Dean at BML Munjal University, Dean at Jindal Global Business School, and Professor, and Director of the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) and MIT- WPU at Pro-Vice-Chancellor. He is a visiting professor at the University of Paris, the University of Bordeaux France; the University of Maryland and the University of Texas Dallas, USA, and, the China University of Politics and Law (CUPL) Beijing.

Dr Panda is a well-known brand consultant and has consulted for leading brands like LG, Hero, Axis Bank, Flipkart, Fortune, Paper Boat, and HDFC Life. He has also worked as a consultant in the public policy area for the Department of Handlooms, Govt of Kerala, Family and Child Welfare Department, Govt of Uttar Pradesh, World Bank, Department of Agriculture, Govt of Madhya Pradesh; Department of Child and Family Welfare, Govt of Maharashtra and different international agencies.

Dr Panda also trains senior corporate leaders in the areas of leadership, change management, performance management, and strategic thinking. His functional training modules for frontline salespeople and sales managers include selling skills, framing stories, sales force motivation for achieving excellence, customer relationship management, team building, and managing diverse teams and Markstrat simulation. He combines in-class training programs with outdoor and adventure tours including leadership training with white water rafting at Rishikesh.

His other interest includes poetry, fiction writing, and songwriting. He keeps a keen interest in literature and is a bilingual writer to reckon with.
